Breeder of Clondaw Park, Mrs. Dale Adams has slipped into the top slot for our breeders cash prize. Mrs. Adams bred the 4 year old daughter of Walk in the Park that sold for £320,000 (€382,160) at Tattersalls Cheltenham March Festival sale.
This mare had an eye catching debut win for trainer Mick Goff at Lisronagh point to point in February. Owner Catriona Goff entered her into the sales and she was one of two top lots that day bought by Ed Bailey for Harry Derham. Dungar Quality Oats congratulate all connections. Interestingly, as you will see in our table below, Mrs. Adams has overtaken her husband Mr. Gary Adams on the Breeder positioning table.! Mr. Adams bred the mare Fedneys Park and was the top breeder in the Tattersalls Cheltenham January sale. This husband and wife are certainly a formidable team when it comes to breeding top class NH horses!
As the Irish point to point season moves along, after this the sixth sale, we have a new breeder in prime position. We look forward to seeing what other exciting prospects are offered and if they will produce a new face to the leader board! Last years prize winner breeder Hilda Rothwells mare Echoing Silence achieved a price of €479,741 at this same sale so we will wait and see if anyone can beat that!
