Annie Twomey, breeder of Princess Day has been added to the Dungar Quality Oats Breeder Prize table. Princess Day, the good looking daughter of Success Days, was sold at Goffs Punchestown sale on Thursday 1st May fetching a handsome price of €170,000 for consignors Rob James Racing. This 4 year old filly was a winner of the Maiden Mares at her debut point to point in Fairyhouse on 27th April last. This is the eighth NH breeder to be added to the table as illustrated below. Currently Mrs. Dale Adams is in the leading position for the prize as the breeder of Clondaw Park who achieved an impressive price of €382,160 at the Tattersalls Cheltenham sales last March. It remains to be seen what other exciting prospects are offered at the remaining point to point sales of the season and if they will achieve equally impressive prices to Clondaw Park!
